I traveled to Lexington, Mississippi to report on the importance of youth tackle football to the community. Lexington is a rural town that suffers from issues like poverty and segregation, so football represents a way out. The community members understand the health and safety concerns that come with tackle football, but the opportunity for scholarship or playing professionally outweighs the risks.
